About the resort

About Zieleniec Sport Arena

Its unique terrain has made it possible to create a fully professional, all-round ski resort that offers its guests more than 22 kilometres of pistes of varying difficulty, from gentle slopes perfect for teaching the youngest to ski to steep, demanding slopes that will give skiers a good dose of adrenaline. Zieleniec Ski Arena has 24 ski lifts, including modern chairlifts (among them a new TATRALIFT four-seater chairlift, which will open in the coming season) and the Nartorama Skyway Express combined gondola and chairlift, opened in December last year. What matters greatly to skiers is that all the lifts can be used on a single ski pass, which can also be bought online on the website www.zieleniec.pl. Besides its extensive ski infrastructure, Zieleniec above all has an extremely varied range of places to stay and eat. Numerous hotels, guesthouses and villas, restaurants and bars will satisfy every guest arriving in Zieleniec, and the resort is also very open to families with children, who will find many attractions here as well. In winter that means above all a wide choice of ski schools and indoor playgrounds suited to the youngest. Summer is also an attractive season in Zieleniec; attractions worth mentioning include the trout fishery, the Grylówka ranch and the Torfowisko pod Zieleńcem peat bog. But it is above all in winter that skiers come to this Lower Silesian resort in their thousands. Skiing in excellent conditions from dawn until late at night, numerous special offers, above all the so-called Free Ski (you book accommodation and the price includes a free ski pass), a truly Alpine atmosphere and excellent cooking by local restaurateurs place Zieleniec among the best and most attractive ski resorts in Poland, and it competes more and more boldly with those across the border. The journey to Zieleniec from Wrocław takes just over two hours along the very scenic Wrocław to Kudowa Zdrój road (no. 8), which runs through the mountains and hills of Lower Silesia. Passing the Bardzkie, Sowie (Owl) and Stołowe (Table) Mountains on the way, you can enjoy remarkable views, which become especially attractive once you pass the gateway to the Kłodzko Valley. The ski season in Zieleniec starts at the beginning of December (sometimes a little earlier) and lasts until the end of March, often stretching into the first days of April. A few times patches of snow have even lingered on the resort's slopes over the May long weekend, in contrast with the snowdrops appearing all around.
