About skionline.eu

Writing about skiing since 1997

skionline.eu is the English edition of skionline.pl, the Polish ski portal for skiers who plan their own winter. We report on snow and slopes, describe ski resorts across Europe and keep a catalogue of ski gear from season to season.

Our editor visits the places he writes about: season openings, new lifts and ski pass prices are reported on the spot.

1,326 ski resorts

Who runs skionline.eu

Jacek Ciszak

Author and editor of skionline.pl and skionline.eu, vlog “JC w podróży”

Jacek Ciszak has been skiing for almost 50 years and has run skionline.pl since 1997. He has visited more than 340 ski resorts. Before he writes about a resort, he queues for the first lift in the morning, skis its hardest run and has lunch in a mountain restaurant.

In December 2018 he took a camera on a ski trip, and his vlog “JC w podróży” was born. It now has more than 180 videos from resorts in Poland and abroad, showing not just the views but also how to get there, where to stay and eat and what a trip costs.
