- by post: the registered office address. The registered office does not serve visitors in person.
- We handle all matters by e‑mail and post.
§ 2What we are and what we are not
- On the site we are a publisher of skiing content: news, guides, snow reports, webcams, maps, resort pages with ski pass prices, a gear catalogue, videos and photo galleries.
- We do not sell anything on skionline.eu: there are no bookings, paid services or user accounts. Editorial content, resort conditions, forecasts, ski pass prices and opening dates are for information only.
- On the site we show Google Ad Manager and Google AdSense ads, labelled “Advertisement”. Partner articles and sponsored posts are labelled as advertising. Consents and advertising cookies are described in the cookie policy.
§ 3Definitions
- User: anyone who uses the site. Consumer: a user who is a consumer within the meaning of Article 22¹ of the Polish Civil Code; we also apply the provisions on consumers to a natural person concluding a contract directly connected with their business activity where the contract is not of a professional nature for that person (Article 385⁵ of the Civil Code and Article 7aa of the Consumer Rights Act).
- Electronic service: a service provided on the site by electronic means within the meaning of the Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means, listed in § 5.
§ 4Technical requirements and rules of use
- You need a device with internet access and an up-to-date browser that supports HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge from the last two years).
- It is prohibited to:
- supply illegal content, including content that infringes copyright, personal rights or the personal data of others,
- automatically download the site’s content, circumvent request limits or interfere with the operation of the site,
- use the site to send unsolicited commercial information.
- Using the internet involves risks (malware, impersonation of the site). We send our e‑mails from the skionline.pl domain and never ask for a password or payment card details in them.
§ 5Services provided by electronic means
- Free of charge and without registration we provide:
- access to content, including resort conditions, forecasts, maps, webcams and catalogues,
- the contact form (§ 6),
- site search,
- an RSS feed, a sitemap and links for sharing on social networks (links only, without those networks’ scripts).
- An electronic service starts when you open a page or use a feature and ends when you leave it.
- Contracts for electronic services are concluded in English.
- Third-party content loaded on the site (video players, map tiles, ads) is subject to its providers’ rules. The providers and when their content loads are described in the cookie policy.
§ 6Contact form and form protection
- Using the contact form you send us a message on a chosen topic (editorial, advertising and partnerships, something else). We reply to the e‑mail address you give.
- We protect the contact form against abuse, including with the Cloudflare Turnstile service (privacy policy, section 4).
- Messages are not published. How they are processed: privacy policy, section 3.1.
§ 7Ratings, rankings and order of results
- Gear ratings in tests come from WorldSkiTest testers according to the criteria described with each test. We build resort and ski pass rankings from the criteria described on the page concerned (e.g. price per day, length of pistes or snow depth).
- Sponsored posts and partner articles are labelled as advertising and do not affect the order of rankings.
§ 8Complaints
- You can submit a complaint about the site by e‑mail ([email protected]) or by letter to the registered office.
- Tell us what the complaint concerns and say what you expect.
- We reply by e‑mail or, at your request, by letter, within 14 days of receiving the complaint (Article 7a of the Consumer Rights Act).
§ 9Liability
- We are liable for the performance of our services in accordance with the law. These terms do not limit liability towards consumers.
- We collect informational content (resort conditions, forecasts, ski pass prices, opening hours) from the sources named next to the data, and for resort conditions we give the date of the bulletin. The situation on the slopes and at the ticket offices may differ from the description; check the information at source before you travel.
- We are not responsible for content on websites linked from the site.
- We carry out maintenance outside peak hours and, where possible, announce it on the site.
§ 10Copyright and data sources
- Editorial content, the site layout, logos and the site’s databases are protected by copyright and database rights. You may use them for your own personal use; quoting with attribution and a link is permitted under the rules on quotation. We reserve text and data mining: reproducing the site’s content for that purpose, including training artificial intelligence models, requires our consent.
- Data sources and licences (Windy, OpenStreetMap and OpenSkiData, WorldSkiTest and others) are named next to the data they concern.
- Resort photos on resort pages come from Wikimedia Commons (with the author and licence next to the photo) or from official resort websites (credited with the resort name). We remove a photo taken from a resort website at the request of the resort or the rights holder ([email protected]) and do not download it again.
- Photos from the skionline.pl forum are shown in the site’s galleries with the author’s credit under the forum terms and are removed from the site at the author’s request.
§ 11Disputes and out-of-court resolution
- Disputes with consumers are resolved by the court having jurisdiction under the general rules. The governing law is Polish law, which does not deprive consumers of the protection of the provisions of the law of the country of their habitual residence that cannot be derogated from by agreement.
- Consumers may use out-of-court methods of handling complaints and pursuing claims: mediation and permanent consumer arbitration courts at the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa) and assistance from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman. The list of such bodies is kept by the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, UOKiK (uokik.gov.pl).
- If we do not uphold a consumer’s complaint, our reply will state whether we agree to proceedings before an out-of-court dispute resolution body and name that body (Article 32 of the Act on Out-of-Court Resolution of Consumer Disputes).
§ 12Changes to these terms
- We may change these terms for important reasons: a change in the law or its interpretation, a decision of an authority, a change in the scope of services (adding, changing or withdrawing features), a change of providers, improved security, or the correction of errors or ambiguities.
- We give notice of a change on this page at least 14 days before it takes effect. Purely editorial changes or changes required by law may take effect earlier if the law so requires.
§ 13Final provisions
- These terms are available free of charge on this page in a form you can download, save and print (e.g. using your browser’s print function). A link to them is in the footer of every page.
- The privacy policy and the cookie policy provide information on data processing and are not part of the contract.
- We do not transfer rights and obligations under a contract with a consumer to another entity without the consumer’s consent.
- These terms apply from 30 October 2026.
