1.What this document covers
- This document describes what the skionline.eu website stores in your browser (cookies, localStorage and sessionStorage) and when it loads content from other providers. skionline.pl and its ski market have their own documents.
- Legal basis: Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law (Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej). Storage that is necessary for a service you request does not require consent. Storage for other purposes (statistics, advertising) requires your consent.
- We store essential data without asking (section 3). We store statistics cookies (section 4) and advertising cookies (section 5) only after you give consent in the consent banner (section 2).
3.What we store ourselves
This storage is needed for the website to work; it does not identify you and is not used for statistics or advertising.
4.Statistics: Google Analytics 4
- The website’s pages load Google Analytics 4 (statistics).
- Without your consent to statistics, Google Analytics does not store cookies. In that case it sends measurements without cookies and without a browser identifier (page address, event, browser type, time, consent status and IP address, which Google Analytics 4 does not store in reports), from which it estimates traffic.
- After you consent to statistics, Google Analytics stores the
_gacookies listed in the table. We do not pass on form data.
Source of the names and durations: Google Analytics documentation. You can also block Google statistics with the Google Analytics Opt-out add-on or a content blocker.
5.Google Ad Manager and AdSense ads
6.Content from other providers
| Provider | When it loads | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| OpenFreeMap (map tiles) | every time a map is displayed | IP address, coordinates of the area viewed; no cookies |
| Webcam images | when displayed | nothing: our server fetches them and serves them from its own address |
| YouTube video thumbnails (i.ytimg.com, Google) | when a list of videos, an article or a page with a video is displayed and we do not have our own copy of the frame | IP address and, depending on the browser, the page address; no cookies |
| YouTube (player in youtube-nocookie.com mode, Google) | after you click “Play” | IP address; the player may store data in browser storage |
| Vimeo (player in do-not-track mode) | after you click “Play” | IP address |
| Cloudflare Turnstile (form protection) | only on the contact page; the check runs on submission | IP address and browser signals needed solely to detect bots |
| Share buttons (Facebook, WhatsApp) | ordinary links; nothing loads before you click | nothing |
We serve fonts from our own server; we do not connect to Google Fonts. The website search runs on our server.
7.How to change your consent and manage cookies
- You can change or withdraw your consent at any time as easily as you gave it: via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page of the website or the button in this section. The banner settings will open with your current choice. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
- You can delete or block cookies and browser storage in your browser settings (privacy section; for details see your browser’s help).
- Content from providers that is activated by a click will not load until you click.
8.Changes
We update this list whenever a feature of the website changes. The version date is in the header; previous versions are available on request. If new purposes requiring consent are added, the banner will ask for your consent again.
