The chairlift stands on the site of a T-bar that ran here from the mid-'80s. The piste, however, is very different from the old one: when the lift was built, its line was completely rebuilt and reprofiled, and fitted with modern snowmaking and new floodlights. At the bottom of the slope there is a short, free T-bar and a winter ski garden for young children. The result is a practically new, small family resort, aimed at those who love peace and relaxation in a clearing hidden among forests. The resort is of course open to everyone, but getting there is a little awkward: a fairly long stretch of the approach is a very scenic but rather too narrow road along a stream that tumbles down in frozen cascades. It is worth adding that the ridge between Mała and Wielka Czantoria, dotted with clearings, is ideal for short but exceptionally scenic tours on cross-country or touring skis, with truly impressive views of the Silesian Beskids foothills and the mountains on the Czech side.
