About the resort

About Stacja Narciarska STOK

A new Doppelmayr lift with fixed-grip 4-seater chairs and a loading conveyor at the valley station is the backbone of the whole resort. It is 800 metres long, with a far from negligible vertical drop of 200 metres (a very respectable figure by Wisła standards…). The new lift's capacity will be about 1,700 people per hour, with a ride time to the top of under 6 minutes. At the top station there is a viewing terrace with a bar and a fine panorama of the mountains around Wisła, from the pistes on Soszów through the summit of Barania Góra and Skrzyczne to Równica. The pistes total almost 2 km. Despite its modest size, the resort has several strengths. Not only beginners but also more advanced skiers will find good conditions here: the main piste is a red slope, fairly steep in its middle section (48% gradient), 850 metres long and wide enough to be great for dynamic skiing. The run also has an easier option for less experienced skiers: in its middle section a blue piste, 1 km long in total, branches off to the right and descends much more gently in a wide arc towards the hotel. The slope is of course floodlit, and parking is free. As part of the resort's modernisation the blue piste was widened, and its lower part was secured with nets at the same time. In the lower part of the slope, near the lift station, a short 150-metre button lift for beginners was built. There is also a winter playground for the youngest skiers. It will be equipped with a Sun Kid Rotundo carousel, to which tubes can be attached, and a specially shaped sledging hill with a dedicated conveyor belt, so children reach the top without climbing. The resort's biggest asset is how close it is to the hotel: it is the only place in this part of the Beskids where a lift stands right next to a comfortable (four-star) hotel, with full spa and wellness facilities, a pool and entertainment for children. It is undoubtedly one of the best places in Wisła for families with children, while also giving more advanced skiers the chance to ski to their heart's content.
