About the resort

About Oclini

The small resort of Oclini/Jochgrimm is part of the Val di Fiemme/San Floriano group of ski areas. The Val di Fiemme, in the north-east of Trentino, is picturesquely surrounded by the Latemar, Lagorai and Pale di San Martino ranges and is often called the "gateway to the Dolomites". It offers more than 100 km of pistes at altitudes from 860 m to 2,450 m, 98% of which have snowmaking. The Dolomiti Superski pass is valid in the region, giving access to 1,200 km of pistes in the world's largest ski circuit. The Oclini/Jochgrimm resort is not very large (only 2 red and 4 blue pistes). It can be recommended to beginners and families with children. The mostly flat and very sunny slopes are ideal for learning. Thanks to its fairly high altitude (the Oclini pass, between the La Rocca and Corno Bianco massifs, lies at almost 2,000 m), the snow on the pistes lasts until the end of April. Visitors can count on peace and quiet, no lift queues and beautiful views. The area is also excellent for cross-country skiing, with 50 km of trails around Corno Bianco.
