Photo: Galtür. Nowhere do the Silvretta and Verwall mountain groups look more impressive than in Galtür. At 1,600 m, in the only ski resort of its kind in Tyrol, you can take on skiing challenges in harmony with nature. The "Silvapark" area is divided into six sectors, each catering for different needs. Guests who come here looking for something special will find it in Galtür. A winter holiday in Silvapark is above all about offers tailored to individual needs. In the "Dwarf World" and "Adventure Land" sectors, children's hearts will beat faster. The "Actionpark" is aimed at teenagers and sporty adults. Freeriders are invited to the "World of Heroes". The best skiing conditions await skiers and snowboarders in "Piste Paradise". Meanwhile, fans of Nordic sports and ski touring will find their niche in the "High & Nordic" sector. Impressive as it is, Silvapark alone does not provide the full variety. It is the entertainment and leisure programme that rounds off the offer: night skiing, barrel-stave skiing, concerts of traditional Alpine music, and the Alpinarium Galtür with its museum and climbing wall make sure there is never a dull moment. Many people come to Galtür for a winter walk through its amazing landscape. Here, nature comes first. Source: austria.info
