Klausberg: 9 days in South Tyrol (Vlog #057)

The 5th ski resort I visited on my ski safari around South Tyrol is Klausberg, in the Ahrntal valley. This ski resort, with 33 km of pistes, lies right on the border with Austria and has a superb view of the Zillertal Alps. Klausberg is not new to me.

I was here a few years ago and remembered it as an interesting spot on the ski map of South Tyrol. This time the weather did not spoil me. The blue sky gave way to heavy winter clouds, fortunately high enough not to hide the surrounding peaks completely.

Since my first visit Klausberg has gained the modern Panorama gondola and new pistes for beginners and intermediates, while the runs for those who like to melt their bases have been widened. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Planning to book accommodation on Booking.com?
