Ski Drienica

The Drienica-Lysá ski resort is also one of the most popular ski resorts in the northern part of eastern Slovakia and has 2 areas. Drienica lies at the start of the Drienica valley near the hotels, with gentle slopes suitable for beginners and less demanding skiers. Lysá lies above the tree line on the slopes of the mountain of the same name (1,068 m). The terrain here is steeper and the pistes intermediate and difficult, though there are also easy runs. The Lysá area is reached by a chairlift whose valley station is about 700 m above the Drienica area and whose top station is near the hotels on Lysá. You can also get there by a mountain road, but always check first whether it is passable.
