Siglany is a small but fairly popular slope above the railway line and the houses of the Kopydło district. The reason may be its wide piste with an almost even gradient, running through a forest cutting at the top and across wide open ground lower down: a great place to start skiing, but also to practise gradually building speed and edge pressure. All the more so because, since the neighbouring areas (Stożek, Nowa Osada, Klepki and Cienków) installed chairlifts, only the regulars have stayed at Siglany, and it only gets truly crowded during bigger events on the slope. The resort lies on the eastern slopes of Kobyla (802 m), which drops from Mały Stożek towards Dziechcinka and Kopydło. There are two button lifts: a longer, half-kilometre one, whose upper part runs through a wide cutting, and one half as long for beginners and children. At the top the piste is 35 to 50 metres wide and a little steeper, while lower down skiers have the whole space between the lifts. The pistes are floodlit and covered by snowmaking, and from the top station of the chairlift there is a fine view of the Kozińce massif, Barania Góra and Czupel. By the valley station there is a fairly large free car park, a rental shop, a ski service and a ski school. There is also a pleasant little bar with a fireplace where you can warm up after hours on the slope. All in all it is a very pleasant place (though not very varied), good for families with children and beginners, where short lift queues mean you can get a surprising amount of enjoyment out of your skiing (given the number of pistes and lifts). The resort is covered by the joint ski pass called "Wiślański Skipass", which includes 11 resorts and ski lifts in Wisła and Ustroń.
