About the resort

About Pejo

Péjo is a ski resort within the famous "Valley of the Sun", the Val di Sole, the largest ski region in western Trentino. A great many sunny days a year combined with some of the heaviest snowfall anywhere in the Alps make the Val di Sole, set beautifully at the foot of the 3,000-metre peaks of the Gruppo di Brenta and the Adamello massif, an ideal place for a winter holiday. Pejo is a ski resort with a long tradition (the oldest holiday resort in the Val di Sole, known for its thermal springs and healing minerals since 1650), located in the heart of the Stelvio National Park. Skiers have 13 km of pistes here, at altitudes from 1,400 m to 2,400 m. On top of that, the other ski resorts of the Val di Sole are very close, including Marilleva, Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio, where a total of 120 km of excellently prepared pistes await skiers among the peaks of the Brenta Dolomites and the Ortles Cevedale group. The village of Cogolo di Pejo itself is nothing like the big, noisy, bustling ski resorts. It is better suited to people who above all value comfort and a quiet winter holiday, and in particular to fans of thermal baths and spa treatments. Pejo's attraction is its three thermal springs with healing water: Fonte Alpina (with a low mineral content), Fonte Antica (iron-bearing mineral water with a medium mineral content) and Nova Fonte (with a medium mineral content and carbon dioxide). You can make the most of these natural benefits at the new thermal centre in Pejo, which offers treatments for respiratory problems, circulatory disorders, rheumatic complaints and skin conditions. The fitness centre, indoor pool and hydromassage baths are in the medical centre, while the steam room and aromatic baths are in the wellness centre.
