Jurasówka is a small ski resort tucked away among the forests and hills of the Pogórze Rożnowskie foothills. The terrain here is not very high, but the highest hills in the area exceed 500 m (Wał), and height differences reach 150 to 200 metres. The resort itself does not have such good figures (the vertical drop here is up to 70 metres), but the favourable microclimate of the higher parts of the foothills, the surrounding forest and the north-facing slopes give fairly good skiing conditions for at least three months in winter. On top of that, the slopes can also be topped up with machine-made snow. The slope has a rather interesting layout, as the car park is at the top station of the lift, which is also where you will find a bar, a ski hire shop, a ski service and a ski school. Two pistes run down along the main T-bar: the one closer to the lift is slightly more difficult and steeper (marked as difficult on the resort map, which is something of an exaggeration), while a wider curve to the left takes you down a gentle, wide slope "for everyone". In addition, by the car parks there is a short training T-bar for the youngest and those taking their first steps on skis. The pistes total a little over a kilometre, and the slopes are of course floodlit, have snowmaking and are groomed. The resort has a family character, and its biggest advantage is simply that it exists: there are no larger ski areas in the vicinity (the only other lift nearby is Lubinka, closer to Tarnów).
