Skipark Filipovice

Filipovice is a small but modern ski resort, one of a dozen or so built in the Jeseníky over the last ten years. From a Polish skier's point of view, its main selling points are its very convenient location, less than 30 km from the border, and the relatively good value of its ski passes for the quality on offer, all the more so as there is no competition nearby on the Polish side. It is a typical family resort, with a chairlift, three T-bars and a separate area for little ones starting to ski. For such modest infrastructure, more than 4.5 km of pistes is impressive. There is a steeper red piste, a somewhat longer and gentler blue one, and classic nursery slopes for beginners. No frills, but everything skiers need to get started. The resort has a restaurant, a ski school, a ski service, rental shops and a free car park. Snowboarders will certainly be interested in the local snow park, and several easy cross-country trails have been prepared in the area. The main slope along the chairlift is also floodlit, so you can get in some night skiing from 18:00 to 21:00.
