HEAD presents the Racing Collection with the only electronic ski damping system in the world

In racing, victory or defeat is decided by hundredths of a second. Success stories are only written with the best equipment. The HEAD World Cup Rebels, number one in the Alpine World Cup, provide input for permanent innovation in the new collections. It is a commitment to precision, performance and the podium. EMC is one of these innovations: it is the only electronic ski damping system in the world. "We have developed a ski with enormous grip, which allows you to focus completely on your own technique," emphasises two-time World Cup overall winner Aksel Lund Svindal.

Electronic energy absorbs negative vibrations

EMC (Energy Management Circuit) features ceramic piezo plates incorporated into the front and rear of the ski. The kinetic energy is converted into electronic energy. In turn, the electronic energy is used to absorb negative vibrations. The ski runs smoother and is more stable. As a result you can ski at a higher level all day long. The ski also adapts better and faster to the terrain.

Ski: Worldcup Rebels E-GS RD Pro

In addition to the further developed racing models with EMC technology, the 2020/21 season sees HEAD offering its own Masters ski for the first time. This is a model that is available in four different lengths, with the same wider centre width but different radii. HEAD can now offer a personalised set-up for individual needs and preferences. The skis have the same construction and technology as the FIS-certified model. The big difference is the wider centre width, which makes the set-up less aggressive but still delivers full performance. The smaller radius enables easier and more playful handling.

Boot: Raptor

The new Raptor boot is equipped with a Liquid Fit liner. Liquid Fit material offers the fastest and most accurate fitting. The density of the material ensures the perfect shape in the most critical zone of the ski boot: the ankle and heel area. The performance and precision of a Liquid Fit boot can be enhanced easily and conveniently in just ten minutes. The tongue of the liner can also be adjusted for a better individual fit.

Helmet: Downforce

Downforce is the new benchmark in helmet design. The helmet features an impressively sturdy, durable shell in a streamlined, aerodynamic design that is extremely light yet incredibly safe. Downforce offers a Speed Mode with noise-permeable ear inserts, which in Gate Mode can be replaced by a chin guard for the technical disciplines.

• Speed Mode: The noise-permeable ear inserts have been optimised for the speed disciplines to improve perception of ambient noise and in turn the skier's sense of balance.
• Gate Mode: The chin guard adapter inserts are used to mount the chin guard for technical disciplines on the Downforce.

• Streamlined design: The shell of the Downforce has been developed to reduce air resistance to a minimum.
