Tip & Tail Rocker
A slightly raised tip and tail (Tip & Tail Rocker) makes it easier to initiate turns at low speed. The traditional ski profile in the binding area allows dynamic, fast skiing with secure edge grip. Combining a classic ski profile with modern Rocker means you can choose skis about 10 cm longer than conventional carving skis, while keeping the turning ability of a short ski and the stability of a long one.
Multilayer Woodcore
A multi-layer wood core along the whole length of the ski. It effectively damps vibration at high speed and transmits steering force precisely to the edge. Thanks to the layered construction the skis are stiffer under the binding (a core of denser ash wood) and more flexible at the tip and tail (poplar wood), so you can do tricks on any terrain without trouble. The exact pattern and layout of the core changes from one Freeski model to another, depending on the core properties each model needs.
