Vallter 2000, Pyrenees, Spain

Vallter 2000 is the easternmost ski resort in the Pyrenees and the closest to Barcelona (145 km). Skiers have 10.3 km of groomed slopes, 3.4 km of freeride runs and a 1.9 km snow park. Two chairlifts and three T-bars take you up the slopes. Beginners and children have a specially prepared slope right next to the car park. The area is an excellent choice for ski touring fans. A one-day ski pass costs €25 for adults and €16 for children, while the little ones under 7 will lighten their parents' wallets by €5.
