Pitztal: autumn skiing on the glacier

The Pitztaler Gletscher is not only the highest ski area in Austria but also the starting point for climbs of the Wildspitze, the highest peak in Tyrol. The pistes here reach an altitude of 3,440 m, and the climate and terrain allow skiing from September to May.
