Features

Powerbridge

Following its introduction last season, the revolutionary power bridge has
now been optimised for the second generation. The technological highlight
of the high-performance ATOMIC models.
The Powerbridge, the chassis of which freely glides forward and backward on
the ski, guarantees a direct transmission of power, unsurpassed edge
grip and thus maximum control in all phases of a turn. The connection between
the boot and the binding has no negative impact on the natural flex of
the ski. The free flex of the ski thus permits neutral handling characteristics.
The system works like a spring plate throughout all phases of a
turn. The plate uses the friction that is generated to dampen blows, letting
the skier ride precise curves. At the end of the curve, the spring relaxes
giving a powerful rebound for maximum dynamics at high speeds.

Aerospeed 2

The form and arrangement of the honeycomb structure Aerospeed 2 used in ATOMIC’s
Race models has also been optimised: Wind tunnel tests have proven that this reduces
air turbulence for greater stability and even smoother skiing.
