LIGHTWEIGHT WITHOUT COMPROMISES With its own, specially developed patented technology designed for the Nordic sector's extreme targets of weight reduction, Fischer now enables less weight in Alpine skiing, too. The Air Tec wood core has been given an elaborate, offset milled structure which, on the one hand, makes the core 25% lighter and, on the other hand maintains the outstanding ski performance: both flex and torsion remain the same.
MAKING LIGHT EVEN LIGHTER. A special milling finish of the full-surface Titanal shell saves even more weight, especially in the All Mountain sector. This reduces weight even further without making any compromises of any kind in ski performance.
Sandwich Sidewall Construction
A unique concept in ski core manufacturing that gives the entire ski construction top stability. The Sandwich Sidewall Construction is the intelligent layered core structure made of poplar and beechwood, featuring a dual Titanal shell and sidewalls that give the ski edges support and make them more robust. The sidewalls are responsible for transferring skiing forces straight to the edges which means that the skis can be ridden extremely dynamically and directly. Theimproved shock absorption is an additional plus in this construction.
Special network of carbon fibres with exceptional torsion properties and a balanced stiffness pattern at the same time.
On-Piste Rocker
With the On-Piste ROCKER Fischer fulfils sporty piste performers' wish of more harmony in the turn initiation to prevent undesired edge-catching. The new shovel geometry based on the traditional Alpine shovel form is indeed convincing with a more balanced turn initiation that you can really feel. Thanks to the perfect edge grip you do not have to sacrifice the dynamic performance: the entire edge is in the snow just when you need it and no power is lost.
