skis Fischer Transalp 80
With an 80mm waist it has a sensational weight of only 950 grams (163cm). Fully equipped with Paulownia Air Tec Titanal, Aeroshape and Tour Rocker.

A hot 950 g – and with a touring ski with very good performance and SW Sidewall Construction. This makes the Transalp 80 ideal for consecutive, long climbs which have to be overcome on the way to the highest peak. And the ski is 163 cm long – has the makings of a record, don`t you think?

With the 118-80-104 sidecut you ski a radius of 17.5 m (ski length 170 cm) with the Transalp 80. The ski stands out with awesome turns in terrain as a result.

The Tour ROCKER is an indispensable feature of the Transalp 80. The shorter contact length of the ski is designed for extreme conditions such as those you encounter on long touring stages. This means the ski is easy to turn and saves energy in all situations.

The Air Tec wood core has been given an elaborate, offset milled structure which, on the one hand, makes the core 25% lighter and, on the other hand maintains the outstanding ski performance: the outstanding flex and torsion remain the same.

Sandwich Construction

A unique concept in ski core manufacturing that gives the entire ski construction the ultimate in stability. The Sandwich Sidewall Construction is the result of an intelligent layered structure with a wood core to give the ski edges perfect support and make them harder and more durable. Compared with other constructions the ski’s shock absorbing properties have been improved considerably - just like the more even power flow to the edges.

Sintered Bases

Sintered bases have exceptional waxing properties and a very long service life.

Aeroshape

EFFICIENT IN THE CLIMB, AGILE IN THE DOWNHILL.
The patented Fischer Aeroshape technology makes the tour ski much lighter and, thanks to the special core and surface construction, also far more stable. This is how a Fischer Aeroshape ski offers you better climbing performance together with improved downhill performance.

MASS OPTIMIZATION
Considerable material savings at the sides. The mass and thus the ski's centre of gravity is concentrated in the middle around the longitudinal axis. This means better longitudinal stability and balance when climbing plus smoother skiing on the downhill run.

TORSION CONTROL
The entire top ski surface arcs from edge to edge. In quick turns, this transfers the power the shortest way- from edge to edge - and reduces twisting. The slender profi le in the edge area also enhances edge grip.

STREAM LINE
Aeroshape creates a streamlined surface form: snow resistance is reduced in the climb and snow doesn't stick. The ski also glides through the snow with less resistance in the downhill - and is thus more energy-saving all-round.

Tour Rocker

3 to 4 mm ROCKER and special shovel geometry prevent you from sinking in. Perfect tracking and optimum downhill performance. Easy and reliable skin fastening.
