The Stubai Glacier celebrates its anniversary
In 1973, 50 years ago, the Stubai Glacier lifts were opened thanks to pioneering spirit, courage and entrepreneurial foresight, and the first gondolas brought winter sports guests into the ski area. The three lifts of then have grown to 26 lift facilities and 35 downhills in one of the most snow-reliable ski areas today.
